A little about the art...
Each botanical piece of art from Flora & Foliage is a one-of-a-kind creation, made by hand with real plants. We carefully handpick and press each leaf and flower, then arrange them into beautiful mandala-inspired designs that merge the beauty of nature with an artistic vision. To ensure that the vivid colors and delicate details are preserved, we embed the plants in biobased resin, creating a time capsule that captures a moment of life and holds it for years to come. Every piece is a celebration of the timeless cycle of life, a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us, and a connection to the natural world.
A little about the artist…
Hi! I’m Katrina Rose Marin-Demers, a full-time artist based in the high desert of Albuquerque, NM. I have been making botanical art and discovering/refining my techniques since 2014, and I officially established my business in 2018. I find endless inspiration in the natural world, and I’m happiest when plants and creativity surround me. Being able to put those two things together and create art is something I’m endlessly grateful to be able to call my work.
